I am pleased to announce the Adult Faith Enrichment will begin a new book/journal called "Walking Toward Eternity: Making Choices for Today. Series One: Daring to Walk the Walk by Jeff and Emily Cavins.
By using the Scriptures and through your own journal, you will experience meditative prayer, which will allow God's Word to work in you. Through your journal and group discussions we will work together to help each other grow in the virtues of love, forgiveness, humility and prayer.
A small registration informational packet can be picked up in the vestibule starting August 16th and 17th. The only cost will be to purchase the journal book. It can be found on Amazon for as little as $5.99.

What is Adult Faith Enrichment? Answering this question can be quite difficult, because it can mean different things to different people. Adult faith enrichment must engage the needs and interests of the adults. It will do so in a way that is accessible to adults and relates to their life experiences. It helps us to live our lives as faithful disciples of Jesus. Our life experiences, diverse adult learning needs, the study of Scripture, and the teaching of the Church's Tradition will produce a much needed learning environment. “Ignorance of Scripture, is ignorance of Christ.” – St. Jerome. Adult faith enrichment needs to be inviting and allow us to have an ongoing conversion to Jesus. This conversion helps us to realize that we are in need of repentance and to seek reconciliation through the sacraments. Adult faith enrichment deepens our personal prayer life. "Prayer immediately turns us into something greater than ourselves." - Archbishop Timothy Dolan. It also helps us to learn and live our faith as active members of the Church. The Church and its people have a mission in the world: to share the message of Christ. Adult Faith Enrichment prepares us to do all that God asks of us. We must continually learn about our faith.
